Job Description:
We are seeking a Store and Sales Leader to manage the daily operations of our flooring store. This role will combine sales expertise with operational oversight, ensuring a positive customer experience.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong judgment, and problem-solving abilities. They will oversee daily operations, including sales, customer service, stock ordering, and installation management.
The ideal candidate will have experience in retail management, preferably in the flooring or home improvement industry. A proven track record of achieving sales targets is essential, as is knowledge of flooring products and installation processes.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers. The Store and Sales Leader will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, well-presented showroom that promotes a positive customer experience.
Additional responsibilities include resolving customer complaints promptly and effectively, making quick informed decisions to keep jobs on track, and delivering outstanding service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the flooring or home improvement industry.
* Able to lead sales teams and achieve sales targets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
* Flooring product knowledge (carpet, vinyl, laminate, timber, hybrid) to support customer queries.
* Ability to measure in-home, interpret and draw plans.
* Understanding of flooring installation processes.
