Water Network Maintenance Professional
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Water Network Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for providing assistance in the response to continuous operation planned and unplanned maintenance of water and wastewater networks.
A Typical Day as a Water Network Maintenance Professional Involves:
* Sewer pump station maintenance, clearance of sewer blockages, and extension of existing sewer mains.
* Water main repairs and valve replacements.
* Responding to emergency situations such as water main breaks to ensure minimal impact for our community.
* Introduction to telemetry/SCADA systems to understand and diagnose issues within the network.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience in the water/wastewater or industrial process industry or a relevant trade qualification.
* Hold a Class C driver's license and be willing to obtain an MR license.
* Display a keen interest in the water industry accompanied by the knowledge and theoretical understanding of pumping systems and equipment.
* Be available for on-call call-back and after-hours duties.
Requirements:
* General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
* First Aid Certificate.
* Confined Spaces Statement of Competency.
* Excavator Certificate of Competency.
