The Team:
The Launceston General Hospital is located in the regional Tasmanian city of Launceston, in the north of Tasmania. The Education and Training Unit is a small team committed to providing evidence-based education to the multi‐disciplinary health team.
The Role:
The Nurse Manager:
* Provides leadership and management while coordinating nursing education programmes.
* Provides expert advice to health care teams and external providers to develop and deliver educational activities for staff.
* Ensures activities are managed in accordance with relevant legislation, national standards, guidelines, and organisational policy.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Demonstrated advanced knowledge, skills and experience in nursing education with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
* Comprehensive knowledge and experience in contemporary nursing practice.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full‐time day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary:
$126,036 to $132,932 per annum. 12% superannuation contribution is included. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.
* Salary packaging includes living expenses up to $9,010 and meal entertainment up to $2,650 per FBT year, plus other eligible benefits.
