Harvey Norman Commercial, located in Port Melbourne are seeking a highly motivated Data Administrator to join our growing and successful commercial business on a Full-time basis across a 38 hour week. 
Your new role: As the Data Administrator you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and maintaining organisational data ensuring data integrity, accuracy and accessibility is always upheld to the highest standard and maintained. 
Collaborates with cross-function teams to support data-driven, decision-making while supporting the general maintenance of company databases. 
Responsibilities 
Design and maintain data structures within multiple database systems 
Assist with the design, documentation and implementation of database usability processes and procedures 
Develop dashboards by creating regular and ad-hoc reports from different data sources to support decision making 
Identify, analyse, validate, and document business benefits associated with data driven initiative 
Establish and maintain database security protocols 
Perform maintenance of backup and recovery systems 
Qualifications 
A tertiary level qualification in Information Technology or equivalent 
5 years' experience in a similar role 
Proven experience preparing documentation, policies, procedures, and instructions relating to system usability. 
Proven experience maintaining databases including but not limited to designing naming conventions and data sets. 
Proven experience troubleshooting and providing support to the business to diagnose and repair database and data related issues 
Proven experience translating technical terms to the business
