Role Description
This full-time, on‐site Lawyer position is based in the Greater Sydney Area. The Lawyer will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of family law matters, including property settlements, parenting cases, divorce proceedings, and mediation support. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents, providing tailored advice, representing clients in negotiations and court hearings, and maintaining professional and compassionate client relationships.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Family Law matters, including property settlements, child custody, divorce proceedings, and mediation
* Strong drafting and legal writing skills, including preparing affidavits, submissions, and legal correspondence
* Effective client communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
* Experience in court representation and mediation processes
* Strong research and analytical skills related to case law and legal precedents
* Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively
* Current Australian legal practicing certificate and understanding of Australian Family Law regulations
* At least 3 years of professional experience as a practicing Family Lawyer
* Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); postgraduate qualifications in Family Law are a plus
