About the Role

The position of Drill and Blast Supervisor is available at our mine site, requiring an experienced professional to oversee and coordinate all drill and blast operations, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and production standards.
* Oversee and coordinate all drill and blast operations on-site to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and production standards.
* Lead, coach, and mentor your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and respect.
* Liaise with planning and production teams to optimize blast designs and schedules.
* Monitor performance, investigate variances, and implement improvements to achieve KPIs.
* Uphold site safety standards and champion a zero-harm culture.
To excel in this role, you will require Coal Mining Drill and Blast experience and a proven track record of leadership and delivering results.
* Proven experience in a drill and blast supervisory role (preferably in open-cut coal mining).
* Strong technical knowledge of drilling and blasting practices and equipment.
* A hands-on leader who communicates clearly and leads by example.
* Relevant qualifications and current certifications.
* Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.
