About the Position
The Academic Psychiatry team is focused on clinical research and teaching. As Senior Research Officer, you will assist in administrative and research tasks.
You will be responsible for:
* Coordinating research studies under the direction of a senior academic.
* Conducting clinical and research assessments of patients.
* Organizing research procedures.
* Developing research protocols.
* Compiling clinical data and performing statistical analysis.
* Writing grant applications and managing publication of research.
Candidate Requirements
* Demonstrates behaviours that reinforce core values: collaboration, openness, respect, and empowerment.
* Holds a degree in psychology or relevant science degree.
* Experience in psychological research and managing research projects.
* Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Expertise in statistical analyses using SPSS or similar package.
* Strong organisation and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
