Job Title: Family Support Specialist
We are seeking experienced and qualified professionals to provide Intensive In-Home Support to children, young people and families referred by relevant authorities.
This role plays a crucial part in delivering frontline support services to children, young people and families. You will work collaboratively with families to implement individualised journey plans, providing advocacy and support to develop daily routines, plan activities and schedules based on need.
* Work with families who have complex behavioural needs.
* Visit family homes to provide support and advocacy.
* Maintain professional relationships with families.
* Provide intensive personal support through life skills and strategies.
To Succeed:
* A completed Bachelor Degree qualification in a Human Service related field.
* A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role.
Other requirements include a valid Driver's License Class 'C', Child Safety and Personal History Check (LCS2), Current Blue Card, First Aid and CPR Certificate, and a vehicle with full Comprehensive Car Insurance.
