The Role
As a Lifestyle Assistant you'll support residents in our Corowa Courthome in Morningtonto live their best life ad achieve their personal goals. For the 120 residents within this home, you'll ensure they are at the centre of your decision making.
* Assist in inclusive lifestyle programs, taking into account differing cognitive, social, spiritual, and culture needs of the residents, assisting the programs to meet individual needs
* Assist in guidance in supporting volunteers, care staff and residents
* Promote positive attitudes towards ageing following the age care standard
About you
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Minimum qualification in age care, Community Development, Recreation or Disability (Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure highly regarded)
* Experience in a similar role
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain
* Experience creating genuine connections, and empathising with clients, families and team members
