We're partnering with a fast-growing renewable energy company to hire a technically strong and proactive Pre-Sales / Solution Support Engineer to support their Australia team.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, engineering, and customer engagement, playing a key role in delivering high-quality residential solar and battery solutions. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with customer-facing work, and who's looking to grow into a senior technical or solution leadership role over time.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical expertise to support the sales team throughout the pre-sales cycle.
* Prepare and present tailored product and system solution proposals based on customer requirements.
* Respond to technical enquiries from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
* Work closely with sales and engineering teams to design residential solar PV and battery solutions.
* Develop system configurations, product specifications, and technical proposal documentation.
* Ensure all proposed solutions meet relevant technical, regulatory, and compliance standards.
* Conduct product and solution demonstrations for customers, partners, and internal sales teams.
* Deliver technical workshops and training, covering product features, system benefits, and installation best practices.
* Stay up to date with solar and battery technology trends in the Australian residential market.
* Provide competitive insights and technical feedback to support sales strategy and positioning.
Requirements
* 3–5 years' experience in a pre-sales, solution support, or technical engineering role within the residential solar and battery sector (Australia).
* Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and electrical components.
* Experience preparing technical proposals, system designs, and solution documentation.
* Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Relevant technical qualifications (Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or similar) are highly regarded.
