Role Description
This is a casual or part-time remote role for a Payroll Officer. The Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day payroll operations for clients, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, and maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. The role includes tasks such as payroll data entry, tax filings, responding to payroll-related inquiries, and collaborating with the finance and HR teams to support seamless payroll functions.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Payroll Administration, Payroll Services, and Payroll Taxes
* Basic knowledge of Finance and experience with financial record-keeping
* Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with team members and address payroll inquiries
* Keen attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality
* Familiarity with payroll software systems - Employment Hero and Xero especially
* Relevant certifications in payroll and / or Human Resources, or a related field is a plus
