Senior Network Engineer (SDA experience is a must)
Location: VIC (Southeast suburbs)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3‐month contract (high possibility of extension)
NTT Data is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to deliver high‐quality Level 2/3 network support within a large enterprise environment. This contract role blends BAU operational support with hands‐on project delivery, including SD‐WAN initiatives, Azure firewall changes, and support for an office relocation. You will also contribute to the final stages of a large‐scale SDA deployment, supporting remaining site builds and ensuring stable, secure network operations across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
* Provide Level 2/3 network support for local and remote users across enterprise environments
* Support and complete remaining site builds as part of a large‐scale SDA deployment
* Install, maintain, secure, and support LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security infrastructure
* Plan and implement network and security changes in line with ITIL and best practices
* Contribute to project work including SD‐WAN rollout, Azure firewall changes, and office relocation activities
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate network performance, security, and vulnerability issues
* Maintain clear technical documentation, diagrams, and knowledge articles
Qualifications
* Strong previous experience with Cisco Routing & Switching, Cisco Wireless, SDA, and SD‐WAN
* Hands‐on exposure to firewall technologies, particularly Fortinet and Cisco
* Experience supporting cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365
* Solid background in enterprise networking, security, and infrastructure design
* Exposure to monitoring, SIEM, APM/NPM, and asset management tools
* Ability to work effectively in ITIL‐aligned, fast‐paced operational environments
