The Company
Our client is an Australian Private Developer, that specialises in the ownership, development and management of shopping centres. This fast-growing team truly has a strong pipeline of property growth across sub-regional & neighbourhood shopping centres, as well as mixed use assets, across several states in Australia.
The Role
As the Retail Lease Administrator you will be responsible for assisting with lease administration and general administration duties as required.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Liaise with leasing & centre management teams to ensure accurate documentation in accordance with negotiated terms
Liaise with lawyers, banks & agencies
Return executed legal documentation to lawyers & centre management teams
Ensure accurate documentation is issued across the retail portfolio
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation & relevant state / federal laws related to retail leases
Ensure deposits, bank guarantees & insurances have been received
Track lease documentation & report on the status
Support leasing executives with knowledge of the Retail Leases Act beneficial
The Ideal Candidate
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular, Excel & Outlook
Prior experience in Retail Lease admin
High attention to detail
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience with high-volume workloads
Knowledge of the Retail Leases Act is desirable
