Job Overview
The Urgent Mental Health Clinician plays a key frontline role within our innovative mental health service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver comprehensive interventions for individuals aged 25-65 years, including brief and ongoing support.
* Function autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues to plan and develop services for people with mental health issues and their families.
* Provide evidence-based, best practice interventions, assessments, and care planning.
* Participate in clinical reviews, quality assurance processes, and business meetings.
Requirements:
* AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist (with mental health accreditation), or AASW Accredited Mental Health Social Worker registration.
* Knowledge and experience in the provision of clinical mental health assessment and evidence-based interventions.
* Proven judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding of assessment and care planning.
* Demonstrated computer skills and ability to maintain accurate clinical records.
* Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentiality.
