Operations Director
PERSOLKELLY have partnered with a leading brand looking for an experienced Operations Director to join and lead their Sunshine VIC plant.
This succession role will see you developing the AU Supply Chain & Operations Manager, into the National Operations position in the near future.
We're looking for someone who can uplift performance, align operations with business strategy, and coach the teams to think deeply about why they do what they do and how it impacts the customer.
We need someone who can shift the mindset of the operations team, helping them understand every action big or small, impacts the customer experience.
* Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way.
* Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
* Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
* Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.
* Manage budgets and forecasts.
* Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
* Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
* Practice safe working procedures.
* Finding ways to increase the quality of customer service/CX.
About You
* Customer-Centric Operational Leadership.
* Manufacturing, FMCG &/or Lubricant Industry experience ideal.
* Strategic Thinking Meets Practical Execution.
* People Development & Cultural development expert.
* Understanding of EBA / Unionised environments.
* Strong Quality and Compliance ethics.
* Familiar with Systems such as MFGpro, SCADA, SAP or the like..
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Proven work experience as Operations Manager within FMCG or Lubricants.
* Familiarity with business and financial principles.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong Leadership abilities.
* Quals in Business, Operations Management, or related field.
