Control and Instrumentation Engineer
Job Title: Control and Instrumentation Engineer. We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team in delivering engineering projects for onshore fuel pipelines and associated facilities.
About the Role:
As a Control and Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for managing project delivery from approval to commissioning. This involves ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and health, safety, security, environment, and quality (HSSEQ) standards. You will also prepare project plans and manage resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning & Management: Manage project delivery, ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and HSSEQ standards.
* Design & Engineering: Develop detailed control system designs and drawings, conduct risk assessments, and apply industry standards.
* Communication & Coordination: Maintain direct contact with clients and stakeholders, coordinate engineers, CAD operators, field staff, contractors, and suppliers.
* Procurement & Contract Management: Prepare tender documentation, evaluate bids, and monitor spend.
* Construction & Commissioning: Oversee site-based construction contracts, collaborate with site teams to meet health and safety targets, and assist in developing commissioning strategies and plans.
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
* Experience in designing, developing, testing, and commissioning control systems, client-facing roles, multidisciplinary team collaboration, tendering, budgeting, producing technical documentation, data analysis, and reporting.
Basic salary £35,000 - £67,000 (dependent on experience).
