At the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Downer delivers comprehensive non-clinical, operational and maintenance services including Cleaning, Orderlies, Patient Catering, Security, Patient Ward and Theatre support, Logistics and Building and Asset Maintenance that ensure optimum patient experience and outcomes.

We currently have a unique opportunity for the right person to step into a key role within our Quality and Performance Team on a 12 month contract. As a Continuous Improvement & Performance Analyst, you will be pivotal in driving operational excellence and service delivery oversight.

Responsibilities

As a Continuous Improvement & Performance Analyst at Downer, you'll enjoy a reasonably autonomous role within the established, supportive Quality and Performance Team. You will:

* Lead process improvement initiatives, using your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex processes and data and translate insights into practical actions that drive real results.
* Apply your sound understanding of performance measurement, process improvement, and continuous improvement methodologies to optimise service efficiency and quality.
* Engage directly with service line leadership and senior contract leadership, presenting findings and recommendations clearly to influence decision-making and drive positive change.
* Utilise your proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools (such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL) to uncover trends, monitor performance, and support strategic decisions.
* Manage multiple priorities with strong organisational and project management skills, ensuring improvement projects are delivered on time and with impact.
* Apply your understanding of change management principles to embed improvement initiatives effectively and support teams through transition.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

* Bachelor's degree in business or related field (desired).
* Several years' experience in an equivalent role.
* Prior experience in consulting would be highly regarded.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and SQL (desired)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Knowledge of performance frameworks, KPIs, and compliance reporting.
