Position Profile: We are seeking a Clinical Nurse (Infection Prevention and Control) to join our team at the Perth Children's Hospital (PCH).
As a Clinical Nurse you will enjoy a diverse range of responsibilities, including surveillance work, identification of hospital-associated infections, and the implementation of transmission-minimising protocols within the hospital.
Your role will involve direct interface with various clinical wards, ensuring a family-centred approach where the well-being of both the patient and their family are prioritised. With our broad scope covering surgical, medical, acute, and mental health areas, you will have the opportunity to engage across services, and to support a variety of quality improvement projects, shaping the future of our work.
We provide ample opportunities for upskilling, with regular education sessions and a strong emphasis on continual learning. You'll also have the chance to participate in exciting consumer engagement initiatives, contributing to the overall safety and well-being of both our staff and patients.
The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is proud to be the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, as the State's only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people. CAHS is made up four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children's Hospital (PCH). Consisting of over 6,500 employees, our services are delivered at PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), as well as across a network of more than 160 community clinics across the metropolitan area.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
