**About this opportunity**
As a Care Operations Manager (COM) you will lead the Home Instead Perth North and South West WA team in successfully navigating the business challenges & opportunities. **The role will be Mandurah based with a requirement to visit the other 3 Home Instead offices when required.**
This hands-on senior leadership role operates in a fast-paced service-based environment, where the ability to juggle priorities, yet systematically close out tasks that drive outcomes, is crucial. You will be responsible for managing day to day Client and People Experience to ensure our client care services are of a consistently high standard as represented in our organisational values, whilst ensuring we are compliant with all legislative, regulatory and aged care quality standards.
Drawing on previous leadership experience, you'll foster strong relationships with your team; motivating and guiding them to achieve business goals, as well as providing them with constructive and supportive feedback that drives business capability and aids personal growth. You will identify new business opportunities and develop and grow the business through strong community partnerships and networking.
You will drive change and implement best practices to maximise efficiencies, streamline and simplify processes to optimise business operations and future growth. Strong stakeholder engagement and a proactive approach to people development will be required, as well as a solid knowledge of data analytics and reporting. You'll have a proven track record in a similar role, with demonstrable financial and commercial acumen combined with a strong analytical skillset, and the ability to derive insights from data. You'll be able to distil and communicate information succinctly to enable robust business decision-making and have experience working with senior managers on such matters.

**About you**
- Qualification in nursing / experience essential (Clinical care) - Desirable
- Qualifications relevant to management and/or business
- Demonstrated experience in aged care
- Experience in ensuring the quality and continuous improvements
- Strong analytical and leadership skills and experience in developing and motivating staff
- Strong people management skills and understanding of the employment landscape in Australia.
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound commercial acumen
- Strong understanding of contracts and legal documentation.
- Solutions focused with strong listening, influencing and decision-making skills
