Senior Data Engineer at CoStar Group. This role is part of CoStar Group, a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces.

* Translate raw data into meaningful insights, combining technical expertise with business context and consumer understanding.

What You'll Bring
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including data modelling, building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
* Expertise with AWS and Snowflake; strong knowledge of data warehousing and architecture.
* Experience with dbt, Apache Airflow (or similar), and advanced SQL skills.
* Skilled in version control, testing, CI/CD, Docker, GitHub Actions, and related development practices.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, experience in data cleaning, optimisation, and observability frameworks/tools (e.g., Great Expectations, Elementary).
* Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala. Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark), cloud platforms, and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Data visualisation experience, familiar with tools like Tableau or Streamlit.
* Minimum Bachelor Degree qualified
Nice to have
* Knowledge of linear algebra, probability, statistics, calculus, and optimisation.
* Experience with machine learning pipelines and MLOps.
* Exposure to real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
