We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in delivering exceptional end-of-life care to clients and their families. As a member of our Specialised Palliative Care Services, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse communities across Queensland, further enhancing your professional expertise.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality palliative care services to clients and their families, prioritising person-centred care and clinical expertise.
* Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to address client needs, ensuring seamless care delivery.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to relevant standards and regulations.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans, incorporating client goals and preferences.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of palliative care policies and procedures, ensuring best practice is maintained.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A current Registered Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate in the employing State.
* A Bachelor of Nursing degree or an equivalent qualification.
* Mid to senior level proficiency in general nursing, showcasing clinical expertise and a person-centred care approach.
* Prior experience or ongoing pursuit of qualifications in palliative care, pain management, or acute care is highly valued.
* Demonstrated aptitude in effective communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders to address care requirements.
* A current driver's license and the confidence to navigate rural and remote areas of Queensland.
