About the Role
As Assistant Venue Manager/ Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in leading floor service and team management while enhancing the guest experience through expert supportive hospitality leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Train and mentor front-of-house staff on service, guest relations
* Train and support supervisors
* Lead by example on the restaurant floor, ensuring correct presentation and proactive upselling to maximise profitability
* Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to design complementary food and wine pairings
* Organise and manage wine stock efficiently, ensuring systems are easy for all staff to follow
* Assist with ordering in line with budgetary parameters and financial guidelines
* Support the Management Team in upholding company service standards and guest experience expectations
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you must meet one of the following requirements:
* A Diploma qualification relevant to hospitality plus at least one year of full-time relevant work experience, or
* At least three years of full time relevant work experience in lieu of formal qualifications
In addition, you will have:
* Previous experience as a Assistant Venue Manager/ Restaurant Manager in a high-quality restaurant workplace
* A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service
