We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full time Infrastructure Assets Coordinator to join the Road Infrastructure Planning Branch within the City of Logan.
In this role you will drive transformative changes in transport and stormwater asset management using new technologies like AI, big data, and cloud portals. As the City of Logan embraces a strong asset management focus, your expertise will introduce innovative and efficient tools and processes to manage a growing asset base.
Position responsibilities include:
* Provide expertise in managing transport and stormwater assets, focusing on data management, processes, reporting, and capability improvement
* Work with minimal guidance, establishing priorities and monitoring workflows
* Lead a team of asset data and system officers, ensuring effective management and coordination
* Oversee the planning, procurement, contract management, financial management, and delivery of infrastructure capital works
* Engage with consulting engineers, contractors, and various stakeholders effectively
* Promote and ensure adherence to health, safety, and wellbeing policies and procedures
* Promote a culture of learning and growth, committing to professional and personal development
* Maintain and improve asset management plans and provide technical input to strategic plans
* Maintain GIS mapping of infrastructure and projects
Key indicators for success:
* Degree level tertiary qualification in the area of practice of asset management including Digital/Systems Engineering or other relevant degree or substantial directly relevant industry experience
* Knowledge and experience with asset lifecycle management and asset management principles
* Geographical Information System (GIS) experience is essential, preferably with ESRI
* Well-developed oral and written skills for influencing and networking, and writing technical reports
* Current C Class Drivers Licence
* Ability to pass all pre-employment and background checks successfully
