The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail‐oriented Management Accountant to join our Finance team based in Port Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment where your insights will directly support business performance and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare weekly and monthly management reports, including detailed variance analysis across Contract Logistics business units nationally
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis processes
* Provide financial insights and support to operational teams
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Support business improvement initiatives through financial modelling and analysis
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
* Liaise with the national finance team and assist during audit processes
* Support compliance requirements, including GST, FBT, and income tax reporting
About You
* Degree‐qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
* CPA or CA qualified (or working towards)
* Demonstrated experience in a similar management accounting role
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with high attention to detail
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial systems
* Exposure to Oracle Financials and/or Microsoft Great Plains (highly regarded)
* Experience in logistics or supply chain (advantageous, not essential)
