Job Description
Cater Care is seeking a reliable and motivated Catering Assistant to join the team at Alinea at Koh‐Noor, our aged care facility in Wembley.
In this hands‐on role, you will support the delivery of a positive dining experience for residents through food preparation, meal service, and general kitchen assistance.
What This Role Involves
* Assist with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture‐modified meals
* Serve meals and snacks with a high standard of customer service
* Re‐stock supplies, including after meal periods
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing
* Set tables, plate meals, and support the Chef with general kitchen duties
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
* Contract catering experience (desirable)
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Strong presentation and communication skills
* Flexible and adaptable in a fast‐paced setting
