What you'll do
We are seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to lead the design and deployment of advanced AI solutions for enterprise customers. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success, requiring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong client engagement skills.
As a senior member of the team, you will own end-to-end delivery of complex implementations, influence architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders. You will leverage leading large language models (LLMs), including Anthropic's Claude (via Anthropic Vault), OpenAI's GPT, and Google's Gemini, to build secure, scalable, and high-impact solutions.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Client Leadership
* Serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise clients.
* Lead discovery workshops to identify high-value AI use cases.
* Drive end-to-end delivery of complex deployments.
* Influence customer roadmaps and long-term AI strategies.
Solution Architecture & Delivery
* Architect and implement enterprise-grade AI systems leveraging Anthropic Vault, OpenAI GPT, and Google Gemini.
* Design secure and scalable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and agentic workflows.
* Integrate LLMs with enterprise data sources.
* Establish best practices for performance, reliability, cost optimization, and governance.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
* Mentor and guide junior engineers.
* Contribute to internal frameworks and reference architectures.
* Provide leadership during complex troubleshooting and incident resolution.
Operational Excellence & Governance
* Define evaluation frameworks for model quality and safety.
* Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory requirements.
* Implement monitoring, observability, and LLMOps practices.
Here's what you need
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 7–10+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
* 3+ years delivering AI/ML or LLM-based solutions in production.
* Proven track record of leading complex, customer-facing technical engagements.
Technical Skills
* Expert-level proficiency in Python and strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Go.
* Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and API design.
* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Hands‐on experience with Anthropic Vault, OpenAI GPT, and Google Gemini.
* Expertise in prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
* Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
* Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
* Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or Milvus.
Bonus points if you have
* Experience deploying AI solutions in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government.
* Familiarity with responsible AI and model risk management frameworks.
* Contributions to open‐source projects or technical publications.
* Experience with evaluation and observability tools such as LangSmith, Promptfoo, or Weights & Biases.
* Prior experience in a startup or high‐growth technology environment.
