Document Management Specialist
This exciting new role will work within the airfield team, supporting and coordinating activities in a highly regulated safety-sensitive working environment.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping us implement a refreshed document control management system for the airfield, ensuring we meet regulatory obligations and continuously improve how we manage our critical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the upkeep and accuracy of over 200 airfield documents, ensuring compliance with CASA MoS 139, Part 175, and associated regulatory frameworks.
* Collaborate across airfield teams to ensure documentation changes are well-managed, communicated, and aligned to operational needs.
* Proactively monitor regulatory changes and support timely updates to relevant documentation, keeping Melbourne Airport compliant and future-ready.
* Ensure all documentation changes follow the Management of Change (MoC) process as required.
* Maintain clear file structures and improve accessibility to key documents, including SOPs, Airfield Design, and Works-related outputs.
* Support the Airfield Standards Manager with document-related workstreams, project activity, and risk or MoC sessions.
Requirements:
* A solid understanding of Airfield Operations and relevant regulatory obligations.
* Knowledge of CASA MoS 139, Part 175, and associated standards.
* Strong technical writing and documentation management experience.
* Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools.
* Change management experience or comfort working in evolving environments.
* Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.
