We are seeking a passionate Chef to join our creative and innovative kitchen team. You will be passionate and proud of your work, work efficiently and effectively, highly motivated and a true hospitality professional who will perfectly complement our venues.
All about the role:
* Assist with menu preparation and ensuring adequate supplies are available for expected service
* Liaise with the Front of House employees regarding the availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changes
* Maintain excellent presentation standards and cost control whilst maintaining recipe standards
* Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage
* Keep all working areas clean and tidy & ensuring all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned to OHS standards
* Contribute towards of the creation of an exciting seasonal menu
All about you:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Trade qualifications
* Great communication skills
* Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
* Excellent organisational skills & grooming standards
* Ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP requirements
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
