Deliver High-Quality Healthcare Services in a Secure Environment
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Regional NSW - Port Macquarie & Mid North Coast. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering essential primary healthcare services to patients in a secure correctional environment.
About the Role:
* Conduct comprehensive primary health assessments and develop patient care plans
* Manage acute and chronic physical health conditions
* Administer medications and treatments in line with clinical guidelines
* Respond to medical emergencies and deliver urgent care when required
* Provide health education on disease prevention and self-care
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor of Nursing and unrestricted AHPRA registration
* Minimum 23 years of post-graduate experience in acute or primary healthcare (within the last 5 years)
* A background in Primary Health, Rural or Emergency Nursing
* Current CPR (HLTAID009 or equivalent) and First Aid certification
* Experience using electronic health record systems
* Advanced Life Support certification
* Recognition as a Nurse Immuniser (NSW)
