Job Description
The role involves guiding the service desk team, contributing to IT strategy, and ensuring the effective management of IT infrastructure and support services.
1. Guide service desk team and delegate tasks.
2. Contribute to IT strategy development.
3. Ensure IT contractors meet obligations; provide hands-on support.
4. Administer, maintain, and develop servers for optimum performance and high availability.
5. Maintain quality of desktop support for end users.
6. Configure and verify backups and business continuity solutions.
7. Design networks and servers for current and future needs.
8. Procure and receive technology goods.
9. Manage mobile devices and maintain asset register.
10. Consult with internal departments on solutions.
11. Manage phone system hardware and configurations.

Educational Requirements
* IT degree or relevant experience
* Networking and switch configuration skills
* Knowledge of VMware vSphere and backups
* Software license management skills
* Experience with SSO integration and identity providers
* O365 administration experience
* Working knowledge of firewall and router technologies

Additional Requirements
* Project management experience
* Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks
