Hunter Valley Granite & Marble is seeking a skilled and experienced Head Installer to join our team based at Rutherford NSW. Our factory is located at Rutherford, just 45 minutes north of Newcastle and less than half an hour from the Hunter Valley Vineyards/ Cessnock region.
As the leading stone bench top installer, you will be responsible for supervising your team in the professional installation of high quality natural and engineered stone products for residential and commercial projects across the Newcastle, Port Stephens, Central Coast, Hunter Valley and Sydney regions.
This is a hands on, full time position Monday to Friday 6.30am-3pm with one rostered day off per month. There is also plenty of opportunity for overtime where desired.
Immediate start available. Hourly rate is negotiable with the best candidate. A sign on bonus also available to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilties:
* Install stone benchtops using appropriate tools and techniques and adhering to all health and safety work regulations and practices.
* Supervising/ training other members of the installation team.
* Communicate with clients, building contractors and the factory to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process.
* Maintain a clean and organised work areas after each installation.
* Keep tools, equipment and motor vehicles in good working condition.
Requirements:
* Experience in the stone industry and installation of stone bench tops.
* Experience in the role of team leader of an installation team.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy stone material.
* Problem solving skills and a proactive attitude.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the wider team to deliver projects on time and to client satisfaction.
* Courteous and well presented.
* A valid drivers licence and your own reliable transportation.
