About the Role: The Grounds and Maintenance Assistant is responsible for performing tasks related to grounds maintenance and minor building works.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with gardening and general grounds maintenance tasks as required.

2. Undertake general maintenance and minor building works.
">
3. Assist tradesperson working on site.
">
4. Check the school grounds to ensure they are safe.
">
5. Keep storage facilities clean, tidy and safe.
">
6. Work through a schedule of regular tasks and maintenance audits.
">
7. Perform general handyperson duties as directed.
">

Requirements:
">
">
* Demonstrated ability to carry out physical tasks with aptitude in gardening and handyman work.
">
* Ability to efficiently manage and maintain grounds, gardens and complete grounds works within a school environment.
">
* Technical knowledge, expertise and proficiency in minor repairs and maintenance to buildings within a school environment.
">
* Flexibility and ability to work independently or under supervision within a team environment.
">
* Full driver's license is required.
">

* Ability to carry out physical roles with demonstrated gardening/handyman aptitude.
