Clinical Nurse Specialist – Grade 2
* Employment Type: Permanent Part Time, 16 hours per week.
* Location: Bolger Street, Campbelltown and Hoxton Park Community Health Centre.
* Remuneration: $62.82 – $64.88 per hour + 12% superannuation + Salary Packaging.
* Vaccination Requirement: Influenza vaccination mandatory.
We're excited to bring a Clinical Nurse Specialist onto our multidisciplinary Brighter Beginnings Health and Development Checks team in the South Western Sydney Local Health District. You will be part of a team that provides health and developmental screening in early education settings, offers assessment, intervention and capacity building, and creates direct care pathways for children. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives, enhance your leadership skills, and support a collaborative, family‐centred service.
Qualifications & Selection Criteria
* Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, relevant post‐registration qualifications and at least 3 years (full‐time equivalent) experience in the clinical area of the specified post‐graduate qualification.
* Skills and experience providing complex care to children and families in a community setting, demonstrating advanced clinical decision‐making and interdisciplinary collaboration.
* Responsibility for clinical practice, critical reflection, professional development, performance review, and exercise of extended autonomy in decision‐making within scope of practice guidelines.
* Compliance with legislation, common law, Registered Nurse Standards for Practice, Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses, ANCI Code of Ethics and take action to rectify unsafe practice or unprofessional behaviour.
* Possession of a valid Australian C‐class driver's licence (P1/P2) or obtaining one within three months of appointment.
