About the Role
Our JAX Tyres & Auto store in S Tweed Heads is excited to welcome a new Tyre Fitter to join the team. In this role, you will use your expertise to safely fit and repair tyres, while working in a well-equipped and organised workshop. You will work closely with motor mechanics, wheel aligners and sales staff to deliver the best service to our valued customers, ensuring everyone leaves our store with peace of mind driving. Your main day-to-day tasks would include:
- Identifying faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear
- Fitting, balancing, repairing and servicing tyres
- Providing your expert advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks of your customer’s vehicles
- Safely operating hoists and conducting road tests as required
- Training Provided
About you
- You are an excellent problem-solver and pay attention to detail
- You can work cooperatively in a team environment, but also confidently when unsupervised
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers and team members
- Knowledge and compliance of work health and safety practices

**Salary**: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Tweed Heads, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Leadership: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
