About the Role 
They are currently seeking a Customer Liaison Officer with Procurement / Purchasing experience to join their team in Macquarie Park. This is an estimated 6-month temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend. 
Reporting to the Manager, you will provide support, expertise and knowledge to deliver end user environment procurement practices and procedures to support operational and business requirements.* 
Responsibilities 
Deliver qualified customer service 
Answer enquiries within a timely and accurate manner 
Facilitate the resolution of customer complaints in a complex environment 
Validate stakeholder business needs 
Compile and source market information, analysing markets, mitigating risks 
Undertake sourcing activities 
Participate in negotiations and review supply arrangements that will deliver value for money procurement 
Provide advice and guidance on procurement related matters 
Generate reports on procurement and contract activity 
Manage and maintain records to ensure they are up to date and correct in Asset Management System 
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures 
About You 
Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written 
A strong customer service and service delivery focus 
High attention to detail 
Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines 
Solid analytical, negotiation, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills 
Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite 
Requirements: 
Call Centre or Shared Services experience essential 
Demonstrated knowledge of Procurement Shared Services 
Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
