* SIL - Support Workers Required

* Quality Living and Support Services (QLSS) is a fully registered NDIS provider offering Quality Shared Independent Living (SIL) to individuals with disabilities who receive funding from the NDIS. Our trained support workers are on-site 24/7 in our quality homes located in Townsville, Cairns and Mount Isa, or in participants' own homes ).
* About the Role
* As a SIL House Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
* • Providing daily personal care support (showering, hygiene, dressing, medication)
* • Preparing healthy, home-cooked meals
* • Engaging participants meaningfully through conversation, activities, and community access
* • Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment (including daily deep cleaning)
* • Accurately completing all required documentation (shift notes, behaviour logs, medication records, appointments, etc.)
* • Following participant care plans and ensuring dignity, choice, and independence are upheld
* • Communicating clearly and respectfully with participants, team members, and management
* • Participating in team handovers, appointments, and household routines
* Mandatory Requirements
* To be considered for this role, you must have:
* • The legal right to work in Australia and comply with relevant legislative checks, including vaccinations
* • A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one
* • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module: 'Quality, Safety and You'
* • A current First Aid and CPR certificate
* • A valid Driver's Licence and access to a clean, reliable vehicle which has a comprehensive insurance policy covering same
* • A strong work ethic, positive outlook, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
* • A caring and empathetic nature with a willingness to learn
* Desirable Qualifications and Experience
* • Relevant work experience in disability support, aged care, or as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN)
* • A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or Aged Care
