Your new role
As the Recruitment Consultant, you will support a key technology portfolio and act as a primary point of contact for major Federal Government clients. This role has become available due to internal leave and has the potential to become a long-term position.
Working alongside a cohesive national recruitment team, you will:
Manage end-to-end recruitment across technology roles (e.g. mainframe developers, UX designers, digital specialists).
Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to gather requirements and advise on sourcing strategies.
Source, screen and shortlist candidates through a mix of platforms, tools and emerging AI technologies.
Present shortlists and provide insights to stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication throughout the process.
Maintain pipelines and recruitment reporting for internal stakeholders.
Operate within an established recruitment framework using the Workday system (full training provided).
This is a Canberra based role offering 2-3 days WFH once established (initial weeks will be office based for onboarding).
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring:
Australian citizenship (mandatory).
3-5 years experience in end‑to‑end recruitment within agency, RPO or consultancy environments.
Confidence managing senior stakeholder relationships and representing recruitment insights to executive‑level stakeholders.
Experience recruiting in technology or specialist markets (desirable but not essential).
Strong organisational skills, initiative and the ability to work autonomously within a supportive team.
Experience with Workday or similar recruitment systems is beneficial but not required.
