Job Description
This position involves providing student-focused speech pathology services that align with Brisbane Catholic Education's values, learning framework, and teaching policies.
* Contribute to the evaluation of speech pathology resource needs and prioritize communication and learning goals within the school community.
* Collaborate with relevant personnel to evaluate student communication and learning needs through standardized and non-standardized assessment measures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement evidence-based, data-informed intervention approaches for identified students, enhancing their communication, learning, and wellbeing outcomes.
* Provide clear, actionable reports and feedback to parents and educators on student progress.
* Lead or contribute to staff training and provide educational opportunities for parents on speech pathology topics.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology (minimum Bachelor's degree) plus eligibility for Certified Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
* Experience working alongside teachers to set and prioritize communication and learning goals.
