We are currently seeking a Senior Linux Engineer to install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers—both physical and virtual.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Linux Engineer
* Experience in Red Hat Linux
* Experience with IBM Spectrum Protect (also known as IBM Tivoli Storage Manager / IBM Storage Protect) for enterprise-level backup and recovery of Linux systems.
* Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), including versions 7, 8, and/or 9.
* Experience managing backup and recovery solutions using IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM / IBM Storage Protect) in a Linux environment.
* Experience in Bash or Python for automation.
* Experience with configuration management tools—Ansible, Puppet
* Experience in networking concepts—TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP & server security principles.
* Experience with IBM storage hardware, such as IBM Tape Libraries—TS4500
* Experience in .SAN networking concepts—Brocade
* Experience in storage technologies like IBM Spectrum Scale, IBM SVC, NetApp, or Pure Storage.
* Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
