Career Medical Officer (CMO) – Emergency / General Medicine
Dubbo Private Hospital – Permanent Opportunity – an excellent opportunity to join the Emergency / General Medicine team in a dynamic and supportive clinical environment, providing frontline care across a broad and diverse patient population.
The Role
* Provide independent, frontline medical care in a busy ED / General Medicine setting
* Work closely with Emergency Specialists and multidisciplinary teams
* Support and supervise junior medical staff
* Contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care delivery
Key Responsibilities
* Perform timely assessment, diagnosis, and management of adult and paediatric patients
* Manage a wide range of presentations including: Acute emergencies, Trauma, Medical and surgical conditions, Mental health presentations
* Initiate appropriate investigations, treatments, and procedures within scope of practice
* Assist in the management of high-acuity and critically unwell patients

* Remuneration: $185,269 – $220,018 p.a. (depending on experience)

Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration or eligibility via the Competent Authority Pathway
* Minimum 3 years' experience at Registrar level in Emergency Medicine
* Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
* Strong commitment to patient safety and teamwork
