This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time position commencing in Term 1, 2026 with possible extension.
The role is part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers.
Role Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing career education and career learning programs as required.
* Support students to build their workplace capabilities.
* Deliver work readiness programs, working closely with students in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Pathways Program.
We are seeking applicants with a high level of knowledge about the diversity of career pathways, with an understanding of school contexts in relation to local employers, community agencies, universities, and training providers.
Key Responsibilities

* Providing high-quality, unbiased, and current career pathway and labour market information.
* Encouraging individual pathway planning across Year 7 to Year 12.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
* Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by our Screening Unit before you start.
