About the Role
As an IT Product Owner in an Agile team, you will play a crucial role in managing the backlog, prioritising user stories to align with the program objectives, and ensuring the smooth flow of value through the continuous delivery pipeline.
Your primary focus as Product Owner will be on meeting customer needs and maintaining compliance with the Definition of Done.
You will ensure the flow from iterations to value is delivered through the continuous delivery pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Manager and other Product Owners and stakeholders to break down features into user stories.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Manage the team backlog for clear work sequencing.
Participate in demos and workshops to ensure customer-centric solutions.
Coordinate dependencies for reliable value release.
Collaborate with Solution Architects for enabler work planning.
Support Behaviour-Driven Development with detailed acceptance criteria.
Ensure story completion aligns with quality standards.
Uphold organisational values, prioritise customer-centric decisions, and engage in performance development planning.
Work closely with development teams to provide guidance and ensure on-time delivery.
Make decisions on complex issues using risk assessment in a dynamic environment.
Gain a deep understanding of the business to identify gaps and optimisation opportunities within project constraints.
Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Key Experience
Proven experience as an IT Product Owner or similar role.
Experience working in a large and complex enterprise environment
Strong understanding of Agile and SCRUM fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to enhance Agile capability and maturity within the team and stakeholders.
Ability to build relationships with both business and other stakeholders
Demonstrated skills in ensuring solutions align with business needs and deliver maximum value.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Technical background with a solid understanding of software development.
