Job Title: Reservations Clerk
Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Western Australia. This region is easily accessible by plane to major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, and Day Spa.
We are seeking a customer service professional to join our small, friendly resort based Reservations department as a Reservations Clerk on a casual basis. You will be responsible for being the first point of contact for potential guests and suppliers by responding to incoming calls, emails or fax enquiries and assist the reservations team in maximising revenue.
This position involves:
* Holding fully conversant and display knowledge of all facilities and services offered at Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa, including their locations, contact people and operating hours.
* Displaying professional, friendly and helpful service to all guests
* Data management and control of all reservation information should be maintained as per Resort standards.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven customer service experience, with the ability to quickly build positive and trusting relationships over the telephone
* Previous experience in a similar role within the Hospitality or Tourism industry
* Strong computer skills
* Proven administrative experience, including organisational and time management skills
* High level of both written and verbal communication skills, including a good phone manner
* Previous experience using Opera systems is preferred
