Our client is a provider of high quality, finest niche products for their customers. Focus is on creating a unique shopping experience (some of the soft products made in house)
What you'll do
Working alongside a team in their busy distribution centre, you will be using iPads to select and pack customer orders.
* Inspecting picked items for damages or defects before packing them.
* Arranging items to maximize space efficiency and ensuring that fragile items are properly protected.
* Affixing shipping labels and ensuring that all necessary documentation, such as packing slips or invoices.
* Prepare orders for despatch according to customer requirements.
* Pick, pack, and label goods accurately.
* Generate and process shipping documentation (e.g. delivery notes, invoices, courier labels).
* Ensure despatch area is kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
* Conduct final checks on items before shipping to ensure quality and accuracy.
* Picker/packer with dispatch previous experience
Adhering to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. This includes using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper lifting techniques
What you'll need
* Full availability to work 38hrs a week, 8hr shifts on day shift
* Available for work Monday to Friday
* Own transport- public transport is limited in the area.
* Excellent attention to detail, ability to read and action an electronic pick slip.
