About The Position
We have an exciting position available for an Administration Officer who will play a key part in our on-site operations by providing timely and accurate administrative support. This is a Permanent Part-Time position based at our Mallee Hay site in Ultima, working approx. 25 hours per week. (Days/hours to be discussed for with the successful candidate).
As an Administration Officer you'll play a vital role in supporting product processing. Your key duties will include accurate data entry, reception duties, weighbridge operations, product testing and order processing. You'll also have the opportunity to showcase your organisational skills by handling a wide variety of administrative tasks. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth functioning across our site.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast -paced environment, possess exceptional attention to detail and has a knack for juggling multiple responsibilities. Proficiency in data entry, compliance and strong people skills will be crucial for success in this role.
Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Front-line representative, greeting visitors in a warm and professional manner.
Ensuring that all truck drivers are complying with WHSE regulations.
Weighing product as it arrives to site, visually inspecting and completing testing and sampling as required.
Collecting, generating, issuing and processing relevant dockets, tags and other required paperwork.
Processing work & product orders on a variety of systems.
Managing phone calls, emails and correspondence from internal and external stakeholders.
Ensuring the timely and accurate creation and maintenance of records and data.
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you must have the following:
Previous experience in an administration role within a manufacturing site is essential.
Excellent communication skills to effectively deal with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Strong Administration skills and the ability to take initiate and prioritise workload.
Proven high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Experience with the Microsoft Office 365 suite is crucial for success in this role.
