DescriptionThis Sales Manager role plays a critical role in leading and evolving the sales function at Contour MedPrep & Contour TestPrep. As a newly created, full-time leadership position, this role is responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives, cultivating a high-performing, student-focused team culture, and ensuring revenue growth aligns with MedPrep’s mission to empower future medical professionals through exceptional education experiences.Balancing strategic foresight with hands-on execution, the Sales Manager supports and coaches the Sales Team to connect with families and students, helping them access premium preparation services that unlock their medical school ambitions.Who Are WeWe are Australia’s fastest-growing medical/dental preparation company, specialising in comprehensive, innovative and results-driven UCAT and Interview preparation which empowers students to gain admission into medicine and dentistry. 200+ of our 2024 students received offers into medical/dental school for 2025, including 73 offers into Monash, 53 into UQ, 47 into JMP (UoN/UNE), 46 into UNSW and 42 into Adelaide Uni!Our UCAT & Interview programs are characterised by engaging group lessons, abundant resources and 24/7 support, as well as industry-first initiatives such as Australia’s first Simulated UCAT Testing Centres and Free 1-On-1 Admissions Consultations. We've been listed three years in a row as one of the Fastest Growing Startups by the Australian Financial Review, and we're continuing to multiply year over year!It's our vision to reshape education, one student at a time.What You'll DoStrategic Sales LeadershipDevelop and execute a sales strategy aligned with Contour’s business objectives and vision .Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and key business outcomes, ensuring sustainable growth.Identify and implement market expansion opportunities to increase Contour’s reach.People Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, coach and develop the Sales Consulting Team Leader and the wider Sales Team, ensuring a strong student-centred and results driven sales team.Foster a high-performance sales culture, ensuring the team is engaged, motivated, and aligned with Contour’s Core Service Values and Team Values .Provide strategic guidance and development plans for the sales function to build long-term capability.Sales Process & Performance OptimisationOversee the refinement of the sales funnel, ensuring a smooth, effective process from inquiry to enrolment.Identify areas for process improvements, optimising workflows and reducing inefficiencies.Implement data-driven decision-making through sales analytics and reporting, refining strategies based on performance trends.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Marketing to align sales and lead-generation strategies.Partner with and Provide sales insights to our MedPrep and TestPrep teams to improve offerings and enhance customer satisfaction.Skill Requirements Honesty and Integrity Passion for Sales and Customer Experience High Level of Drive, Passion & Empathy Energy and Enthusiasm️ Excellent Communication Skills Independence & Proactiveness Willing to Listen, Learn & Lead Intelligence & CreativityProfessional Requirements Bachelors Degree or higher in business, business administration, commerce or similar 3+ years leading an effective Sales function to superior results and customer-centric outcomes.
