About the Role
As a Senior Project Officer, you'll play a key role supporting the Manager Wellness and Spiritual Care in delivering strategic projects and professional development programs tailored to the CALHN Spiritual Care Services team, including staff, volunteers, and students. Your expertise will help foster a compassionate and skilled spiritual care workforce, ensuring that those who provide this vital service are well-equipped to meet the diverse needs of our community.
In this dynamic role, you will develop and maintain a strong knowledge of evidence-based spiritual care practices and lead initiatives that demonstrate the real benefits of spiritual care within the healthcare setting. By translating data and research into innovative solutions, you'll help shape and enhance the spiritual wellbeing of CALHN's community, making a meaningful difference in the holistic care we offer.
About You
You are a motivated and experienced professional passionate about enhancing spiritual care through effective project management and collaboration. Your strong communication skills and ability to work independently enable you to lead complex initiatives that improve service outcomes in diverse healthcare settings.
* Relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or studying towards one in public health, allied health, and/or spiritual care
* Proven ability to manage and evaluate large projects independently while meeting deadlines and priorities
* Skilled in building strong stakeholder relationships and providing timely, high-quality advice on complex issues
* Experience in spiritual care practice, project coordination, data analysis, and understanding of governance and equity principles
