The role
ESO Surveyors is seeking a Survey Data Manager to join our growing team of Survey Data Managers located across Australia. The role would suit an existing Survey Data Manager or an experienced Senior Surveyor or Site Survey Manager looking to move away from site-based responsibilities. You would be supporting on-site surveyors with design, data processing, as-built/conformance reporting and drafting. You would report to the Lead Data Manager. The role would ideally be full-time, but part-time would also be considered if required by the suitable candidate. The successful candidate could Work-From-Home, or office or a mixture.
Responsibilities
- Support on-site surveyors with design, data processing, as-built/conformance reporting and drafting.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure survey data meets design and construction requirements.
- Contribute to data management workflows and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with project documentation control and reporting deliverables.
- Coordinate with the Lead Data Manager and other stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications and experience
- A Diploma or Degree in surveying.
- 10+ years’ experience on Australian Major Infrastructure projects.
- High level of proficiency in 12d Model software.
- Experience and understanding of project design processes, particularly the interface with construction survey and associated survey data requirements.
- Demonstrated competency in surveying, office reductions, calculations and post processing.
- High level of understanding of the design process and document control systems.
- Experience in Volume/Quantity computation, in particular mass haul and tender.
- Ability to understand construction technique and visualise in 3d.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with clients and surveyors at all levels.
- Australian residency and the right to live and work in Australia.
