Yurauna is Canberra Institute of Technology's (CIT) dedicated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Educational Centre of Excellence.
We are a student support centre, providing tailored Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander courses and study support.
If you have strong work ethics, administration skills as well as experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, then you may be the person for this role.
At CIT Yurauna we are privileged to work with students to support them to overcome barriers to complete their courses and to gain qualifications for employment outcomes.
Eligibility/Other requirements:
All CIT and ACTPS employees are required to complete a National Police Check prior to employment.
Notes:
This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of up to 12 months with the possibility of permanency.

in accordance with Section 27(4) of the Public Sector Management Act **** and is only open to an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander lived experience and cultural capability is considered essential and therefore confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage may be requested.
