About our client
Our client is a privately owned business operating in the industrial construction and asset management sector. Established in 2009, they have developed a broad portfolio of properties and land holdings across Western Australia and Victoria, and continue to build their reputation in the marketplace.
This full-time role will be based out of their Kewdale office.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Property Accounts Manager, an experienced and long-tenured team member, you will be responsible for proactively managing the end-to-end accounts payable function for the organisation. Utilising Sage, you will ensure all supplier invoices are allocated and processed accurately and on time. You will identify and rectify discrepancies to ensure invoices align with purchase orders.
* Ensure all supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time
* Complete month-end close activities within finance deadlines
* Reconcile credit card and supplier statements
* Maintain accurate records for audit purposes
* Identify opportunities to improve AP processes
The role offers exposure to broader business operations and collaboration with the wider team. Over time, this position may evolve based on the business's growth and the incumbent's performance.
About you
We are looking for someone with experience in accounts payable, particularly in a role that has included high-volume transactions.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or similar (preferred)
* Strong reconciliation and reporting capabilities
* Ability to provide a police clearance
